When times like these come…it is difficult to sit in the pastor’s chair and make decisions as to what is or isn’t in the best interests of the flock. State and local authorities are suggesting gatherings of no more than 10 people. So far, that has not been difficult at BibleBaptistAda, because of our small membership. Another thing to consider however, is that many of the local churches have shut their door and went to online sermons and giving. So, what do we do? The Bible teaches us to not have a Spirit of fear, but of power and love and of a sound mind.” (2Tim 1:7)….At the same time, we are taught to obey our government. Romans 13:1-14, tells us that every person is subject to the governing authorities. For there is not authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Are these lessons opposed to each other?
